EPA Slow Process Frustrates Community

One key takeaway from the EPA’s January 7 meeting with residents near the San Jacinto River Waste Pits Superfund Site is that the cleanup will continue to stretch into the future.  

For community members who have pushed for the cleanup for years, that news was a real cause for concern.

One positive sign is that the project is still receiving a lot of public scrutiny.
