Houston’s Slow Motion Environmental Disaster – Read Our Op-Ed In The Houston Chronicle

Sunday, April 2nd’s Houston Chronicle features an op-ed from THEA’s Assistant Director Rachel Jordan and Stefania Tomaskovic, coalition director for the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER).

It contrasts the EPA response to the recent Palestine, Ohio train wreck and chemical release with the slow-motion chemical release that has plagued the Jones Road Ground Water Plume Superfund Site for more than 20 years. In both cases, it has taken public pressure to push the agency to action.
