Read Our Op-Ed In The Hill About Climate Change And Toxic Threats

The Hill, a widely read and respected newspaper covering politics and government, published an Op-Ed by THEA Founder and CEO Jackie Medcalf. In the article, she raised the concern about the number of Superfund sites that lay in the path of flooding from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. She talked about Houston’s experience with flooding at local Superfund sites and the emerging threat of old, abandoned industrial Sites that may be exposed by Climate Change-related storms.
